The project consists of an edition of 10 completed cast or press-molded objects glazed and fired. Methods for making multiple part plaster molds for slip-casting and press-molding are demonstrated. A presentation is given on the use of mold-making in ceramics and the visual/conceptual potential of multiples. Texts on mold-making are referenced and technical demonstrations are provided. Students explore the possiblilites of repitition, replication, assemblage, and production.
